Wow Guys what a great night we had last night!
As Patrick, Liam and I drove home we couldn't help but talk about our final night together for the 2010 season. I hope it was as special for all of you as it was for us. My deepest thanks to Coach Eugene for all the effort he puts into the time he has with you. Once again I wanted to tell you how proud we all are of the effort you all put into this season.....Thank You -we know it was not always easy for you ( and your parents )to commit to the effort we were asking of you. We saw some amazing growth in ability and stamina from all of you this year and believe that with that ongoing dedication and effort we will be able to build on the gains you have made this year and take the High School program to a new level next year. Thank You for the wonderful gift it means a great deal to me and it will always be a great reminder to me of our time together.
Both Coach Eugene, Coach Scott, and I appreciate the respect you always showed us as we shared some of the "not just for basketball" tools with you that we have learned throughout the course of our lives. We hope that at a time when you need them those tools will help you build the lives that your parents and teachers all know you can achieve when you put the work in and continue to make good choices.So as a final thought.......until we get to spend time together in 2011, don't forget to be a Thermostat not a Thermometer and have a great 2010.
